Scientific Background | STF-62247 is a selective cell-permeable inducer of autophagy. This is demonstrated by an induction of large vacuole formation in cells. This observation is especially pronounced in von Hippel-Lindau deficient renal carcinoma cells. Induction of autophagy is also seen in vivo in mice. |
