Ubiquitination
Ubiquitination is a highly-regulated process that targets proteins that are no longer required, misfolded or damaged for degradation. This rapid, highly specific degradation is a “kiss of death” for proteins and can be achieved through the addition of one to several ubiquitin molecules to a target protein. Ubiquitin-mediated degradation plays an important role in the regulation of many cellular processes including the cell cycle, differentiation and development, cellular response to stress, ion channels, neuronal networks and more.
Ubiquitination research requires a great diversity of life science products. We are dedicated to developing cutting edge research products to aid in the study of ubiquitination, including monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, antibody conjugates, proteins, immunoassays, and small molecules.
