Chaperone Proteins
Chaperone proteins, also known as molecular chaperones, are specialized proteins that assist in the proper folding of proteins. One of their main functions is to prevent aggregation of recently translated proteins into non-functional complexes.
Heat shock proteins are a major group of chaperone proteins which act to prevent aggregation of proteins denatured by stress.
Chaperone protein research requires a great diversity of life science products. We are dedicated to developing cutting edge research products to aid in the study of chaperone proteins including monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, antibody conjugates, proteins, small molecules including chaperone inhibitors, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs).
